The treatment “freezes” fat through a process called cryolipolysis, in which targeted fat cells are destroyed, leaving behind a slimmer, sleeker you. The freezing process crystallizes targeted fat cells, which eventually disappear through your body’s natural elimination processes. These fat cells are permanently destroyed, and non-fat cells aren’t affected. While CoolSculpting is ideal for targeting specific areas of the body, it’s less effective for people who are too thin or obese. What to expect

What to expect

Treatment with the PinPointe laser has been shown to be more effective than topical or oral medications in a variety of ways. One main difference is that, during treatment, the nail becomes clear immediately, although it does take time to grow back fully. The laser also does not result in side effects like allergic reactions. Treatment is quick, usually taking only around 30 minutes to perform, although it does depend on the severity of your fungus and the number of nails that require treatment.
